2014

The 4th edition of the Nuit des images welcomes the Théâtre Vidy- Lausanne, which joins the event and presents on Friday 27 June the visual and sound performance of Couscous Clan, the underground group of Rodolphe Burger and Rachid Taha.

The next day, Saturday 28 June, you have an appointment in the gardens of the Elysée, from 3pm until late at night, to celebrate photography. In the afternoon, children are in the spotlight with many activities specially designed for them. On the program, creation of a flipbook in homage to Charlie Chaplin, and, for the most militant, a major demonstration from a point of view organized by the artist Jean-Daniel Berclaz. Now, the On Print book fair brings together more than 20 independent publishers. Florence Grivel will lead an explosive meeting to present their work. Throughout the evening, enjoy concerts, caterers, bars, photographic animations and even a photo shooting range. Aim into the target and leave with your portrait! From 10pm, the six screens will be illuminated to present more than 40 projections dedicated to discovery, with more than a dozen white cards offered to institutions involved as closely as possible to creation. Don't miss the live performances, including the dialogue between two great war photographers, the French Patrick Chauvel and the Swiss Matthias Bruggmann, as well as the presentation of the eight nominees for the new Elysée Prize launched with the support of Parmigiani Fleurier last February.
