An integral part of the cultural landscape of Lausanne since 2011, the Nuit des images is the climax of the 30th anniversary festivities of the Musée de l’Elysée. It is the time to discover the winner of the Prix Elysée launched with Parmigiani Fleurier in 2014 and the new trilingual version of the magazine ELSE, with a tribute to René Burri. I would like to thank the authorities of the State of Vaud for their support, as well as all of our financial and institutional partners – UBS, Parmigiani Fleurier, Retraites Populaires, the Loterie Romande and the city of Lausanne – without whom the projects of the Nuit des images organized by the museum would not be possible. Enjoy the party!

At the Nuit des images photography in all of its states is honored. Don’t miss the cartes blanches to institutions and the tribute to the humanist photographer Sabine Weiss, before the museum’s façade goes up in flames thanks to Romain Tardy. Come discover “A Tribute to Elysium”, the upshot of a mysterious encounter between The LP Company and the Musée de l’Elysée. Make your own pinhole camera or a time-lapse photograph like in the 19th century. The museum’s collections, the historic building in which it resides and the hidden corners of the Elysée gardens come alive to welcome you and celebrate these images with you!
